The Stockroom

Ever hear the old Seinfeld line when Kramer asks Jerry where they had certain ingredients for his sandwich he was making and Jerry replies "It's in the stockroom."  That's been a new family joke around our house lately.   We actually are going to have a stockroom.

For the time being, the stockroom looks like its going to reside in the utility room in the back of the house.  We have several shelves above the washing machine that we cleared away to make room for items, but the new more 'exciting' addition is the full wall on wheels that are actual store display units complete with large baskets and peg hooks.  The new project for the hubby is now creating this storage area for all the stock items I get.

Which brings me to last nights shopping trip:

CVS-  Spent $3.23 out of pocket ($2.55 merch and $0.68 tax)  Spent $6 Extra care bucks that I was nervous I was going to lose, plus coupons and sales and received:

4- 3pks of Ivory soap (in the stockroom they go!)
4 CVS branded items that were on sale B1G1 50% off.
1 Colgate Total advantage toothpaste $2.99, get $2 ECB back.

Just one of the CVS items would've cost me $3.49 (not including taxes) and it's something I would buy regularly anyways.  So I paid less than the cost of that item and using coupons got the rest for free and got back $2 ECB.  I'm happy.  Good deal.
